Individual Sessions

This time is set aside for you, and both the horses and the facility are reserved for this purpose.  We strive for privacy and make every effort to minimize intrusions by others during your time with us. Therefore, unless other arrangements are made, full fee for missed sessions is charged unless 24 hours notice is given, cancellation is due to bad weather, or unforseen emergency. If your availability changes, someone else may be able to take advantage of the opportunity.

While I do respond to emails for scheduling purposes, cancellations must include a phone call to 518-654-2398 within the 24 hours. Your cooperation is genuinely appreciated.  We limit the number of sessions offered with the horses in our commitment to their health and well-being, and the quality of the work.

If you need to reach me around your appointment time, please use my cell phone number: 518-796-5214.  In all likelihood, I will be at the barn, preparing for our work together.

Workshops

Space is limited because we only include six participants for each EFEL/EFHD workshop.  So, if you are interested in attending, please contact us for availability at:  barijb@gmail.com or 518-654-2398.  If there is space, a $50 non-refundable deposit will hold your place.  The balance is due three weeks prior to the scheduled event.  MC/VISA are accepted for your convenience.

We let people in at 8:30am each workshop morning. It is important to arrive on time the first day in order to register and get oriented. Early arrivals are discouraged and folks will be asked to wait in the parking lot until 8:30am.  There are many details to care for each workshop morning that cannot be done ahead of time. We thank you for your understanding.

Coffee and snacks are provided. If you bring your own water bottle, it can be filled at the barn pump: we think it's the best! Lunch is on your own. Most people bring their lunch, but a few like to drive to town, five minutes away. There are plenty of picnic tables--from secluded in the woods to right next to the horse paddocks.  The screen house is also available, providing a bug-free and shady midday retreat.

Do bring: hat, sunscreen, rain gear, many more layers of clothes than you think you could possibly need, and, of course, sturdy shoes. Please check out the FAQs page and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions. I look forward to our time together.

Visits

We appreciate your understanding that all visits, for any reason, must be scheduled in advance.

Volunteers

Many people call with questions about volunteering to help with our program.  At this time, we do not have a program for volunteers. However, feel free to email me if you are interested, I will keep the contact information on file and let you know if this changes.
